Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are based on metals and organic linkers; they possess large surface areas, suitable pore size shape, wide range of chemical composition, functionalized surface, which enable them for possible applications as delivery vehicles therapeutic agents. The challenges include not only the development new solids but also continuous improvements in formulation processing materials, including modifying morphology shape to fit proposed drug delivery. This chapter discussed enormous MOF-based stimuli responsive systems, considerable achievements have been made a avenue delivery, their structural aspects, controlled release drugs, future view researches using MOFs.
